**The Opportunity**

The primary responsibility of a Production Operative is operate the TFP hydrogen coating lines to produce materials that meet customer specifications. Operatives will also be expected to support delivery of goods, quality testing and reporting, packing, and dispatch.

This includes ensuring the safety and efficiency of the production process and communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure that production goals are met. All duties must be performed in strict adherence to safety procedures

**You will be responsible for;**
- Operating and monitoring coating machinery to ensure it is running at maximum capacity, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and reporting any major breakdowns to relevant teams.
- Working with furnace and product up to 600°C.
- Inspecting and packing product in accordance with written instructions.
- Weighing and handling chemicals in an accurate and safe manner whilst wearing and using appropriate protective equipment
- Processing product in accordance with written operating procedures such as work instruction.
- Measuring and recording quality information as directed ensuring that all products comply with the relevant Quality Plan.

**What will make you successful?**
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of machinery and equipment operation.
- Experience in chemical based industry would be favorable.
- History of following work instructions to meet demanding quality standards.
- Understanding of basic health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient computer skills
- Must be able to read and write English to a level that enables the accurate following of verbal and written instructions or procedures and recording of data.
- Physically fit and able to lift reasonable weighs with a steady hand.
- Strong communication and collaboration: Ability to work with others, comfort in taking and giving direction with peers where necessary to achieve operational goals.
- Attention to Detail: To ensure machinery is set up correctly and ability to spot and mitigate any potential production &/or quality issues.)
