You will be engaged on a casual worker agreement with hours predominantly worked throughout our busy examination period in late April, May and June and some days in January and the autumn term.

**Purpose of Role**

The main role of the post holder will be to support the Examinations Officer and Senior Invigilator in the smooth and efficient administration, operation and supervision of external examinations, in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding bodies and CAIE regulations and Taunton School’s instructions. The post holder will play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination process.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- **Before exams**_
- To report to and be briefed by the examinations officer prior to each exam session
- To keep confidential exam papers and materials secure before, during and after exams
- To ensure exam rooms are set out according to the instructions
- To start exams
- To support with basic IT and word processing competently
- **During exams**_
- To deal with emergencies or irregularities effectively
- To record/report any incidents, disruption or irregularities to the examinations officer
- To complete attendance registers
- **After exams**_
- To securely return all exam scripts and exam materials to the examinations officer
- **Other**_
- To attend compulsory training, update or review sessions as required
- To undertake, where required and where able, other duties requested by the examinations officer, for example:
- Other exams-related administrative tasks

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £9.97-£11.20 per hour
