Our client, a digital archive company, plays an important role of providing interesting and important digital academia material to faculties, libraries, and other academic institutions. One of the leading companies in digital collection technologies, the company are expanding and looking for a Product Specialist to join their growing team.

In this role you will be responsible for driving relationships with core clients in the Education / University space and work as product specialist on the company’s bespoke digital platform.

Our client is offering great staff benefits and the salary of £30, 000 plus bonus. The role can be based from home with occasional travel to their Head office.

This is a unique role that would allow any academically likeminded individual to really thrive, submerging yourself in the extensive and fascinating archive to champion the material to already well-established relationships with clients.

**As a Product Specialist your responsibilities will include**:

- Showcasing the client’s platform to active and potential customers by conducting demonstrations of features and functionality both on site and remotely.
- Active resolution of customer support issues in a timely and constructive fashion; travelling, when necessary, to offer on-site support to the company’s customers.
- Leading development of the user community through webinars, social media, conference attendance and presentations, and engagement with the archive sector.
- Leading site build projects, in consultation with customers.
- Championing the product and communicating and showcasing to existing and potential users functionality embedded in new product releases.
- Soliciting regular feedback from customers and raising and reporting proposed platform revisions and improvements, in response to comments received.
- Representing the company and the product at conferences, seminars and other events.

**The role itself**

As a product specialist, you will represent the company’s product and champion it’s significant role within the academic sector. In this role, you will consult with customers, sales opportunities and the archive, digital library, and wider heritage industries community to help define user needs - new processes, workflows and functionality. Your key role will require you to support the sales team, by effective engagement with active and potential customers, responding to technical queries and conducting platform demonstrations.
