**About the Role**

As a Casual Trainer at St John Ambulance, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing a variety of First Aid and Health & Safety training courses to our workplace and community training customers.

We do that by making our courses interactive, enjoyable and practical as well as assessing understanding throughout the course. Most of the time you would be working in one area and on weekdays in our training venues (we have around 200 across the country), in addition you would run courses on customer premises and travel to other areas when necessary (so you need to be able to get yourself there, with the required equipment) and occasionally do courses at weekends or in the evening.

Summary of what we are looking for:

- Trainers with an Assessing and Training Qualification at Level 3 or above (eg CiLD)
- People who are passionate and engaging, adaptable and flexible
- First aid training experience would be a distinct advantage.
- Casual roles at attractive assignment rates
- We are also interested in hearing from people who are NEBOSH qualified to deliver safety courses on a casual basis
