Overview:
The Investment Consulting Practice Area provides investment consultancy services to the pension schemes of UK companies and to some other clients such as charities. The Asset Transfer team is responsible for transferring between £4bn and £6bn a year, with typical transactions ranging from £20m to £50m.

We are looking for a number of Asset Transfer Specialists within our Asset Transfer Team reflecting on the ongoing growth of our investment consulting business

This role can be based at either of Bristol, Birmingham, Cheltenham or London offices so please specify your preference when applying.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for:

- managing the implementation of investment strategies, including the appointment of new investment managers.
- Design, project manage and oversee the transfer of assets for our clients, from start to finish
- Manage risks and costs to the client, including out of market risk, timing risk and minimising transaction costs.
- Working towards leading complex projects on migration of assets.
- willing to start, or already is working towards the IMC, CFA or CISI qualifications;
- excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- strong client management skills;
- high accuracy and attention to detail;
- strong communication skills;
- have an understanding of the operational framework of how investment managers buy and sell investments
- the ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks simultaneously requiring experience;

Qualifications:
As a minimum, you will need Maths and English GCSE grade 5/C or above
