**Primary Cover Supervisor - Key Stage 2 - Year 6**

**Location**: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire - NN8

**Start Date**: After February half term, Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Year 6 Cover Supervisor to join a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

The school are an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school, which is a dedicated & very supportive primary school in Northamptonshire which is a 1.5 form entry Primary school. They have a friendly, supportive and dedicated team and excellent facilities. The pupils are very happy and eager to learn.

**The school are looking for a teacher to work with a small group of Year 6 pupils in the morning, and then teach the full class in the afternoon under direction of the class teacher.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide effective cover for teachers during their Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time.
- Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Foster a love of learning through creative and innovative teaching methods.
- Manage classroom behaviour and promote a respectful and positive atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall development of students

**Requirements**:

- A patient, understanding, and empathetic approach, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and the school environment.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, following the school's policies and procedures.
