Logistics Administrator

We are looking to speak to experienced Administrator with a background in Stock Control and Logistics, to join one of on the outskirts of Scarborough.
As their Administrator, you are responsible for ensuring all documentation and company records are kept up to date, assisting in Quality Control, HSE and Logistics. You will take on a leading role in project planning, execution and demobilisation working closely with the Logistics Manager.
This role offers a salary of up to £25,000pa, working office hours of Monday to Friday. The ability to travel to sites is a requirement. Benefits are discussed at interview. This role is easily commutable from Scarborough, Bridlington, Malton, and the surrounding areas.
**Key accountabilities**:
- Administrative duties - handling documentation ensuring it is kept up to date, planning of equipment distribution, stock control, quality control, documentation reviews, reporting, and adhoc duties assisting the Logistics Manager.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, or exports.
- Ensure warehouse / storage areas are kept clean, secure, pest-controlled and maintained to
a high standard.
- Raising purchase orders for suppliers and general purchasing.
- Coordination of project tooling and equipment files.
- Strong ability to prioritise and organise tasks.
- Strong communication skills
- Forklift truck / counterbalance licence required. /Or willingness to undertake training.
- Relevant Health and Safety experience related to operating in a warehouse / store
environment.
- Computer literacy on MS Office Suite including spreadsheets, excel, word and outlook,
databases, and experience with Sage/Salesforce preferable.
- Understanding of calibration and calibration requirements (desirable)
- Understanding of COSHH regulations (desirable)
- Full UK clean driving licence (required)
- Experience with import / export documentation process (not essential)
