Manchester, United Kingdom XCM Full time

XCM are looking to hire a Senior Events & Communications Coordinator located in the Manchester area. Fully remote with regular Team meetings in the Manchester area.

**Management & Delivery of XCM Business Events (Industry & Sector)**

**Core Responsibilities**
- Liaise with the Director of Marketing & Strategic Services, Head of New business and the senior management team at XCM to ascertain the exact event requirements.
- Produce detailed event plans and proposals (including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing and budgets).
- Research venues, suppliers and contractors and all event logistics and negotiate on prices.
- Be responsible for the promotion and publicity of all events.
- Be responsible for all event pre-planning, organisation, speakers and delegate materials.
- Co-ordinate suppliers and manage events in person. Be responsible for event set up and any dismantling and removal after the event.
- Be responsible for event data capture and post event evaluation of that data. To also be responsible for 'in event' social posting and photography.
- To manage XCM entries and participation for any relevant industry awards events.
- Research opportunities for new events.

**Management & Delivery of XCM Internal Business Events**

**Core Responsibilities**
- Liaise with the senior management team at XCM to ascertain the exact event requirements.
- Define timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing and budgets.

- Be responsible for all event pre-planning, organisation and staff materials.
- Co-ordinate suppliers and manage events in person. Be responsible for event set up and any dismantling and removal after the event.

**Management & Delivery of XCM Business & Corporate Communications**

**Core Responsibilities**
- To manage, maintain and update all content for the XCM company website and to ensure that this content is delivered swiftly, accurately and professionally. This will include management of a rotational website content plan.
- Management of our external web agency.
- To be instrumental in ensuring that the XCM Website is fully optimised via the usual SEO techniques.
- To manage, maintain and update all fascias and content for the XCM online social media profiles and groups across various platforms (predominantly LinkedIn, but also Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).
- Effectively grow the XCM social media presence and reach by engaging on a daily basis with XCM followers, industry news sources, and external professional opinions and comments.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with XCM brand influencers and craft them into business advocates.
- Moderate and police all internal and external XCM web and social media content activity (including staff profile management and guidelines)
- To support the HR/Talent Department with the materials needed for Training, Recruitment and Staff Inductions

**Skillsets**
- Proven experience of planning, managing and delivering medium sized industry business events (such as conferences, seminars and awards) at a range of venue types.
- Proven experience of managing external suppliers and event/conference organisers.
- Proven experience of managing websites and social media platforms.
- A working knowledge of the_WordPress _back end and its functionality _or_ proven ability inside similar platforms.
- Good working knowledge of Content Management Systems
- An Excellent command of social media platforms and the global social landscape.
- To be flexible, highly mobile and be able to travel in both the UK and abroad as needed. The role will call for attendance at multiple events and overnight stays.
- Must hold a Full UK driving license(Essential)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
