The Public Health Advisors will work as part of a team, providing effective behaviour change interventions to include those aligned to Welsh Government’s ‘Help Me Quit’ (HMQ) programmes as well as other evidence based programmes.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The role will include managing new referrals, assessing a client’s motivation and readiness to change behaviours, providing interventions in line with the evidence base and to agreed National standards and organising and delivering support groups or individual appointments.
