Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our team as an Accounts Clerk. As an Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks within a small team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of accounting.

**Duties**:

- Process clients records through to trial balance for the preparation of annual accounts
- Prepare and maintain client financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Generate financial reports using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Prepare VAT Returns for clients

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working in an accounting or finance role
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks or Xero
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
