Oakleaf Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Care Contracts Co-ordinator to support our nationwide health and social care services. We operate a wide range of service from Acute Mental Health Hospitals, Residential and Nursing Care Services, Supported Living and specialist Acquired Brain Injury units.

The main purpose of the Care Contracts Co-ordinator is to support the process of managing the financial elements of the placements including liaising with commissioners regarding the timely payment of fees.

**Job Summary**:
Our group wishes to appoint a dynamic and ambitious individuals to occupy the Care Contracts Co-ordinator vacancy. This key post carries responsibility for managing a large number of service contracts that the group has in place with commissioners such as ICBs, Local Authorities and NHS England. The post also has responsibility for acting as a key external facing role with system partners.

To succeed, you will be a talented individual with a demonstrable ability to negotiate with, and influence, a range of professionals, as well as having strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. You will be an experienced Care Contractor with a demonstrable knowledge of the current care commissioning framework and a proven ability to manage a portfolio of clinical contracts or services. You will be a core member of the groups service development team and will possess strong inter-personal skills, a desire to think creatively and a commitment to collaborative working.

Key responsibilities will be:

- To manage all contracts during the year to ensure performance, reputational, and financial risk to the groups care service is minimised, analysing complex financial and performance data and judging whether corrective action is necessary to ensure a favourable financial position is delivered.
- To act as the key contact point for all enquiries in relation to the individual placement contracts.
- To forge constructive relationships with commissioning organisations that deliver mutually beneficial outcomes but at the same time to manage expectations using the contract as a framework for delivery.
- To forge constructive internal relationships with Divisions and clinical teams so as to ensure the group is fully informed of relevant contract related issues and so key service issues can be raised with commissioners in a co-ordinated fashion.
- To be a key member of the team that develops, negotiates and agrees each contract through the annual contracting process thus ensuring all documents are signed and managed in accordance with agreed timeframes.
- To manage monthly activity and performance analysis and narrative reporting of individual contracts and to ensure appropriate escalation and remedial action is taken where necessary.
- To advise the Executive Team with regard to contract matters as appropriate

Required experience:

- Care services contracts or performance management experience
- Relevant accounting experience
- Experience of working with senior managers and leaders
- Project management, change management, service development experience
