**Job Description**:
Position: Translations Apprentice
Department: Translations
Reports to: Translations Team Leader
Location: Hybrid - Home / Head Office, London

- Main Job Purpose_
To be responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of translation projects and to support the Translations Team in all administrative duties in accordance with business requirements and to agreed quality standards.
- Specific Tasks_
- The management and coordination of projects in a fast-paced environment
- Use of the project management portal for assignment of files, project tracking and invoicing
- Manage supplier queries and liaise with clients on a day-to-day basis
- Monitor and control projects status
- Negotiate with suppliers
- Manage project finances, including budgeting
- Quality checks of deliverables
- Delivery of finalised work to clients, ensuring that all deadlines are met
- Take personal responsibility for ensuring that personal information is used fairly and lawfully within GDPR guidelines, report any personal data security incidents immediately and abide by the Information Security Policy detailed in the Staff Handbook
- Any other duties appropriate to the position.

The following range of experience, knowledge and skills are required:
- Essential_
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent
- Exposure to busy/high pressure role
- Remains calm and focused under pressure
- Multi-tasking and comfortable in busy role
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Proactive and innovative approach
- Independent worker willing to take responsibility
- Strong IT skills
- Strong organisational skills
