We have an opportunity for a Business Support Administrator to join our client NHS England within the Health and Safety team. This is a temporary ongoing role but may be extended beyond this (permanent opportunities may arise as well) & will start ASAP
- Location: Leeds City Centre
- Hybrid working
- (The client has said they can be flexible around this)
- Hours: Monday
- Friday 37.5 hours a week - 9-5 (can be flexible with working hours)
- Salary: £12.25 per hour

About this role:
The Business Support Administrator will act as first point of contact providing timely, effective and efficient support. This will include receiving, recording, resolving queries where possible and additional administrative duties across the wider team asrequired. The will include monitoring the H&S mailbox daily and deal with ad hoc requests in a timely manner, in addition to providing support to the H&S Manager and H&S Advisor.

Duties include but are not restricted too:

- Coordinating activities from a team mailbox
- Monitor the H&S mailbox and deal with queries and enquires efficiently and effectively.
- Compile H&S data for presentation to the H&S Manager/Advisor
- Produce flow charts and assist writing procedures with H&S Manager/Advisor.
- Prioritise key tasks relative to importance/critically. Escalate as required in a timely manner.
- Respond to a range of stakeholders providing advice, training, support and policy guidance, referring to H&S Manager/Advisor as needed.

Desired Skills and experience:

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint
- Experience of arranging and supporting meetings; taking notes, observing procedures and distributing meeting papers
- Previous experience of handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Ability to work within tight deadlines with a large office environment
- Able to plan and prioritise own workload
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and support a number of team members at the same time
- Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and spelling
- Able to deal effectively and efficiently with queries and demonstrate the use of initiative in these dealings
- Ability to work productively and co-operatively with colleagues and customers to deliver quality services
