We are looking for a Weddings & Special Events Coordinator to join our team here at the award winning Highfield Park Hotel. The hotel is set in 35 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside, providing a delightful backdrop to the many weddings and events we host year-round. We were a National Winner at the 2021 Luxury Wedding Awards, and LuxLife Global Excellence declared us the ‘Best Luxury Country Hotel in Hampshire’ - we love what we do here and we strive to deliver the highest standards for our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for show-rounds and enquiries for weddings to convert them into confirmed bookings
- Responsible for the running of weddings/events on the day
- Representing the venue at in house and external wedding fairs and events
- Promoting the venue on social media/networking
- Manage contracts and handle questions from upcoming wedding couples
- Provide exceptional hospitality and customer service to all event attendees

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality industry is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

This role will be a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday-Sunday as business dictates. Specific hours and days can be discussed at interview. Please note that there is a physical aspect to the role with regards to the days spent running weddings and events with some lifting and moving items, and a lot of walking.
