Our client based in Wrexham area is currently recruiting a Quality Auditor to join their team on a fixed-term basis. As the Quality Auditor you assure compliance to key parameters of the quality system by means of direct audit with main responsibility of inspecting raw materials against key parameters. Authority to quarantine and accept or reject non-conforming raw materials.
**Performance Objectives**
- Inspecting ambient, chilled and frozen materials entering warehouse against written quality parameters and inputting these intake checks onto our client’s raw materials database.
- Collecting samples of intake materials at the frequency defined by goods intake sheet and transporting them to Wrexham site lab for further analysis.
- Conduct in house raw material quality checks as required e.g. bone, weight, size etc.
- Compile non-conformance reports to our suppliers.
- Update supplier response on supplier non-conformance system and to Supplier Assurance Manager
- Conduct spot identification audits to verify correct raw material in warehouse location.
- Collaborative approach with relevant personnel across the various warehousing sites to ensure adherence to site and legal requirements.
- Forwarding relevant intake paperwork to Supplier Assurance team and assisting with trace audits as per the testing & trace schedule.
- Daily calibration of monitoring devices
- temperature probes and scales.
- Ensure all relevant process control records are completed and available for audit purposes.
- Carryout and prioritise daily QA tasks to ensure all scheduled deliveries are inspected in a timely manner.
- Ensure all food safety, GMP, legality and quality requirements are adhered to.
- Complete sleeve intakes against agreed specification
- Complete additional tasks as deemed reasonable by QA Manager.

- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
- Good organisational skills and communication skills.

- To communicate and escalate problems and ask assistance from your manager as required.
