**Role: Full time, Fixed Term - ASAP until January 2024**

As a Senior Policy Advisor on Integration and systems working in health and care, you will support the strategic policy team at NHS Confederation, and the organisation’s delivery of our policy and influencing activities. This will include:

- Designing and leading the delivery of a strategy to support NHS organisations, and influence national policy, as our members strive to develop, embed and scale innovation.
- Developing insightful, evidence-based, member-informed policy positions, recommendations and thought leadership to support NHS Confederation members and influence national policy as integrated care systems (ICSs) mature
- Scoping and delivering new projects and partnerships with the government, NHS England and industry to support the integration services through provider collaboratives, place-based partnerships and integrated neighbourhood teams.
- Developing high-quality policy and communications products and representing the NHS Confederation externally in this area of policy.
- Leading a portfolio of work and the development of a high performing team that has a commitment to excellence, optimises its capacity and skills, and can evidence impact.

- Understand and are passionate about the opportunities to integrate and transform services across the health and care sector, bringing knowledge of recent and upcoming legislative and policy reform, including the Health & Social Care Act and associated white papers and guidance.
- Have expertise and experience in rapidly developing analysis, compelling policy narratives and thought leadership.
- Have excellent communication skills and are personally credible and influential with senior stakeholder, with a track record of building networks and partnerships.
- Are able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead others in delivering a mixed portfolio of policy work.
