**Join us as our befriending assistant**

**Would you be interested in being part of the volunteering and community team delivering a befriending service and community groups for D/deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people?**

**The role will include**:

- Visiting D/deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people in Birmingham who are feeling isolated
- To provide company, chat over tea/coffee,
- Share hobbies and potentially support the person to join one of our community groups.

**The person we are looking for should have**:

- Great communication skills including at least BSL level 3 or native BSL user
- People skills and flexible to the demands of the service

It would be beneficial if you have previous experience in supporting people in the community.

Part-time hours: 10 per week
