- can deliver intervention programmes that enable vulnerable and disadvantaged children to fulfil their potential
- can build and develop relationships with hard to reach young people and have a positive impact on their behaviour and engagement at school
- has experience of safeguarding and child protection
- is well organised, proactive and able to manage a case load of students
