**Payroll Administrator**

**Colleagues within our finance team look after financial reporting, compliance, risk management and investor relations.**

**The Purpose**:
Join our Payroll Team and play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payrolls. Communicate effectively with staff, handle queries professionally, and contribute to continuous improvement. Maintain good relationships with colleagues, support with payroll duties, and stay updated on legislative changes.

**The Role**:

- Efficiently handle day-to-day queries professionally.
- Respond promptly to employee and third-party correspondence.
- Provide ad-hoc reports to Management.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of company payrolls.
- Efficient problem-solving.
- Contribute actively to the payroll team's goals for continuous improvement.
- Maintain good relationships with colleagues, HR, and Operations.
- Ensure confidentiality and comply with Data Protection policy.
- Provide accurate data for costing purposes.
- Perform payroll duties including processing, calculations, and reconciliations.
- Handle new starters, leavers, amendments, statutory payments, P45s, holiday pay, and HMRC submissions.
- Investigate and resolve issues.
- Support payroll queries and optimise software capability.
- Assist with audit controls and pension administration.
- Stay updated on legislative changes affecting payroll policies.
- Maintain and update the Payroll Procedures Manual.
- Communicate with staff at all levels.

- Ability to identify and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently
- Approachable and able to provide assistance to employees with payroll inquiries
- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in Pivot tables and VLOOKUP
