3Together is offering an exciting freelance/secondment opportunity that will help them achieve their plans to create a legacy for the people of Moorsley and Easington Lane in Sunderland

**The successfully appointed organisation/individual will**:

- Take charge of overseeing the implementation of a wide-ranging portfolio of crucial projects outlined in the Partnership's recently approved plan, including the development of a community cycling hub based at Elemore Country Park and a community cohesion project.
- Oversee and assess the progress of current projects, facilitating all partnership meetings and providing reports to the Partnership and the Locally Trusted Organisation.
- Develop and implement a clear legacy for the Partnership that ensures its success is sustained when Big Local funding comes to an end.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse array of partners across various sectors to cultivate connections that advance the achievement of the Partnership's goals.
- Create and offer a diverse range of opportunities for community engagement and volunteer participation within the 3 Together region, all while effectively managing budgets and resources.
- Build a broader awareness of the project in the community by utilising a wide range of methods, including networking, publicity and social media.
- Lead the development of all new proposed 3 Together Partnership initiatives including, commissioning and procurement.
- Create a Funding and Sustainability Strategy for the 3 Together Partnership to secure additional resources and enhance program value.
- Support and oversee all personnel, placements, volunteers, and consultants involved in 3 Together projects

**Requirements**:

- This role would be based on-site in Sunderland with the expectation that work will take place in the community.
- Well connected in the local area of Moorsley and Easington Lane and Sunderland
- An understanding of good governance and best practice in a social enterprise
- Attendance at monthly Partnership meetings
- Experienced with funding and sustainability strategy
- An understanding of the importance of bringing people along with projects and sensitivity to the views and needs of a variety of stakeholders
- Able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and a resident-led partnership board
