Our Client has been established for over 30 years. They are NHBC A1 rated, enjpy a reputation for building quality new homes, and most of their customers, responding to questionnaires tell them that they would buy again from them.
They are a family owned and run business, with a friendly, dedicated and experienced team who work together to deliver quality new homes for their valued customers.
Good Customer Care helps ensure that their customers have the best home buying experience possible, so the appointed person will need to be focussed on delivering that level of customer care.
We are looking to appoint an all-round tradesman who possesses excellent construction knowledge of new homes, and is able to tackle most customer care items that arise. You will need good time management and interpersonal skills for this customer facing role, in addition to excellent organisational skills. You will need to be professional and very competent to deliver a great service to our clients' customers.
Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out the full range of items encompassed by Customer Care.
You will be expected to:
- Complete reported customer care items for new home owners.
- Liaise with homeowners to agree access arrangements as necessary.
- Be punctual, clean, tidy and well presented at all times.
- Maintain a courteous nature.
- Record, and report back to the Customer Care Manager details of all works carried out.
- Be professional at all times.
- Assist Site teams with finishing works in new homes when necessary.
To be successful in the role, you will need to possess:
- Good construction skills, including but not limited to:
- Second & Third Fix Joinery.
- Kitchen Fitting.
- Competent in patching, filling, painting and decorating.
- CSCS card holder preferred but not essential.
- A valid full UK driving Licence.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and multi task.
- Resilience when facing challenging situations, and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills, and attention to detail.
- The ability to present results to the Customer Care Manager in a clear format.
- Good time management skills.

- Joinery: 5 years (required)
