**Location: Manchester or Slough**

We are currently looking for a Cost Controller.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Ensure accurate month-end close (accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, cost center reviews)
- Report and explain results to Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders
- Plan costs and FTEs during Budget and Outlook cycles
- Provide financial advice and support to decision making: advise on costs
- FTEs, planning and reporting
- Support improvement initiatives
- Be a trusted partner to Finance and Business stakeholders
**Key requirements**:
- Degree in a relevant Finance related field
- At least 3 years of tangible post-qualified experience in finance related functions (controlling preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively in order to explain financial concepts to non-finance people
- Solid organizational, planning, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, and general computer skills particularly with accounting systems (SAP preferred) and reporting (BW)
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI preferred)
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
