**Main Duties & Responsibilities**

Examinations
- Assist in the management and administration of the examination entry process for both school and the sixth form college students. Liaising with staff, students and exam boards. Resolving queries and problems.
- Assisting the Exams Officer in the co-ordination and updating of all aspects of the exams result process and appeals, informing students and staff of the outcomes.
- Managing the collection and dispatch of exam scripts and coursework - ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Dealing with exam papers and associated paperwork in an effective, efficient and secure manner, both in the run up to the exams season as well as on the days of the examinations.
- Assisting the Exams Officer with the special consideration for students which are sent to the exam boards and other issues such as when students are sick or there are other difficult circumstances.
- Informing and liaising with teachers, parents and students.
- Dealing with the exam post.
- Invigilating the examinations.
- Dealing with the results of all exams and issuing statistics.
- Assisting the Exams Officer in creating examination timetables for all examinations including mock exams.
- To act as a first aider for the benefit of students undertaking examinations

Access Arrangements
- To be responsible for the collection of data and evidence for student access arrangements from teaching staff
- To keep all records up to date for the JCQ assessor
- To process all JCQ forms
- To act as the link between the learning support team and the exams officer

General
- To provide cover for the administration team and to assist the cover manager in arranging daily and planned cover
- Be aware of and comply with all trust and school policies and procedures particularly relating to child protection, equal opportunities, health and safety and security, confidentiality and data protection; reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
- Carry out all duties with regard to the school's policies and codes of conduct
- Participate in training and other learning activities as required and to participate in appraisal and professional development
- Set high expectations of conduct, whilst acting as a good role model for others
- To be responsible for improving your own practice through observation, evaluation and discussion
