Overnight Doggy Hotel Operative

Are you a passionate dog lover looking for a rewarding career? **Join our team as a Overnight Doggy Hotel Operative at Kent Dog Walker** Our business has been established for 10 years and growing bigger by the day.

We are looking for a team of individuals to join us on a **part time basis, covering 7 nights from 6pm to 8am per week. **This would be a **4 on 4 off shift pattern, working a maximum of 8 hours per shift. **You would be entitled to a 30 minute unpaid break, which must be taken on-site due to the nature of this role. This is an **employed position**, paid at **£12.50 per hour**.

We will also need a full clear DBS check to be provided before the date of hire. You will to be over 25 and have a full driving license for insurance purposes.

There will also be overtime available when covering for other team members annual leave and days off.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and interact with dogs in our doggy hotel facility, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Organise down time for the dogs in the evening and create a home from home environment for them.
- Once the dogs are settled in their hotel rooms for the night, there will be tasks such as cleaning, restocking and laundry to do.
- Monitoring the dogs throughout the night, ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable.
- Giving the dogs scheduled toilet breaks.
- Feeding the dogs their dinner and breakfast at set times.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by regularly sanitising areas and equipment.
- Monitor and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioural concerns to the management team.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients and handing the dogs back over at the end of their stay with a little report about how they’ve got on during their stay.
- Assist in the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to our policies and procedures.

- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and maintaining control in group settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
