**Spire Bristol Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapy Technical Instructor, to join our experienced and dynamic team. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary physiotherapy care within the physiotherapy department and on the wards, developing your clinical skills in a modern and supportive environment.**

With 76 beds, 5 operating theatres, and the only private hospital in the South West with an Intensive Care Unit, Spire Bristol Hospital has been providing excellent care, expertise and knowledge in a supportive and progressive environment for over 32 years.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Assisting Registered Physiotherapist on the ward and in outpatient
- Provide a high level of customer service to all patients, consultants and hospital teams
- Correctly undertake assessment and treatment procedures, which have been delegated in relation to the specific patient, as agreed with the physiotherapy team Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent
- Obtain verbal consent from patients before starting the assessment or treatment
- Obtain information on patients’ needs within the overall context of their personal and care requirements.
- Record information related to designated tasks accurately and report to the relevant person to agreed time frames
- Use appropriate assessment methods and processes of reasoning to justify behaviour and decisions to achieve optimum outcomes.

**Who we're looking for**:

- Experience of assisting in the assessment and treatment of a range of patients/cases
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams
- It would be advantageous to hold a degree in a relevant physiotherapy related discipline (e.g. Sports Science or Rehabilitation) and have experience of working in an independent physiotherapy department.
