We are recruiting for a Payroll Advisor to join our busy team running various payrolls for businesses within the Group. You will provide a professional and efficient service for all group companies and employees in line with the Groups policies and procedures and government legislation. You will assist in the preparation and processing of all monthly and weekly payrolls including interpreting, validating and the inputting of all documentation, expenses, mileage, and overtime payments on to the payrolls system in line with SLA's.

This role is based in Preston allowing you to collaborate with the People Services team. To facilitate a good work life balance, hybrid working is available and you will be able to split your time between home and the office (one day minimum).

**More about you**

With experience of preparing large payrolls for a complex multi-business group, you will be highly numerate and be able to reconcile the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations of the payroll as well as providing analysis of payroll costs. Whilst a formal qualification in Payroll isn't required, support through training is available.

Working with a complex ERP system (we use Business World) would be a great skill to have but we accept this isn't commonly used, so good IT literacy is essential. We are looking for someone who is at ease in providing guidance to internal customers to ensure they follow policies. Our payroll team are close knit and have created an enjoyable working environment. People who have a sense of fun, positive outlook and the ability to work hard will excel in this role.
