To learn the elements of rehabilitation following foot and ankle surgery. To participate in clinical research projects. To participate in research and the writing of clinical papers in conjunction with their supervisor. To create PowerPoint and video presentations at a high level for presentation at local and national meetings.

To participate in teaching of colleagues and staff including physiotherapists. To participate in regular clinical audits and the analysis of surgical complications and morbidity. To participate in an on-call rota, currently 1 in 10, for general Orthopaedic and Trauma admissions at Harrogate District Hospital
