- To provide high quality and effective support for the Operational Resilience function within the COO Office, with a focus on Incident Management.**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure all Incidents are logged, investigated and managed through to resolution and Executive sign-off.
- Liaise with key stakeholders including Executive Management, Head of Information Security, key Operational teams and Compliance to ensure that incidents reported across the AL and its subsidiary businesses are managed effectively.
- Analyse and gather information to determine if a Regulatory notification is required and present recommendations to line manager and Executive Director. Ensure that all Regulatory notifications are completed on time.
- Act as Secretariat and Co-Chair for the weekly Incident Review meetings. Ensure that the meeting agenda and accompanying reports are issued in advance of the meeting.
- Responsibility for the oversight and further development of the Service Dashboard.
- Assist with the annual review of Business Continuity Plans, and associated documentation, for important business services.
- Develop robust procedures and ensure they comply with internal and regulatory standards, are documented and embedded. Develop appropriate controls for new procedures that are suitable, effective and built into the Risk Register.
- Assist with the collation and production of functional MI, analyse trends and drive remedial or improvement actions.
- Complete FLoD checking for the wider Operational Resilience key risk controls.
- Manage the tracking and monitoring of key actions attributed to the Operational Resilience Team to ensure key deliverables are achieved.
- Additional support for the wider Operational Resilience team including Supplier Management s required.
- Responsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and procedures

**Knowledge / Experience**
- Ability and confidence to deal effectively and professionally with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent time management, organisational & administrative skills, ability to work under pressure, responsible, proactive, dedicated and consistently able to achieve results with mínimal supervision. Remains motivated and confidential at all times. Ability to act on own initiative.
- Good understanding of Regulatory expectations around Operational Resilience and Major Incident reporting.
- Financial services background desirable.

**Qualifications**
