Location: Driffield Area

**Salary**: up to £ 35,000

Hours: Monday to Friday

Contract: Full time, Permanent

We have an excellent Opportunity for an experienced an estimator to join our client’s growing business based near Driffield.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and manage cost estimates for multiple projects.
- Prepare cost reports and monitor budget allocations.
- Prepare budgets, bills of quantities and schedule of works
- Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiations as needed
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Review project plans, specifications, and other contract documents to determine the scope of work and prepare accurate cost estimates
- Good understanding of the construction process/building industry.
- High attention to detail and be a pro-active self-motivated team player.
- The ability to read and understand drawings and specifications, to obtain accurate cost estimates specific to the project.
- The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
- Good proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and estimating software.
- The ability to manage time well and multitask.

**Qualifications**:

- An appropriate degree, HNC/HND **or **equivalent industry experience. Willing to consider a recent graduate.
- Minimum Level 3 standard (A level or equivalent) in Mathematics
