Are you a dynamic and organised individual with a passion for HR? We're on the lookout for a highly personable and proactive HR Advisor to join our client in the construction sector based in Driffield, East Yorkshire. This position offers a fixed-term contract of at least six months with a salary ranging from £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.

As a vital member of the on-site HR team, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing efficiency and productivity. Your responsibilities will include providing advice and support on various HR matters, such as people policies, benefits, and practices. Additionally, you will assist in implementing people-related projects that align with the company’s mission, culture, and business objectives.

As a HR Advisor you will be ultimately responsible for;
- Handle the preparation of monthly and weekly payroll data, ensuring accuracy and timely submission for director approval.
- Oversee HR inductions for factory employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and filed correctly, while also coordinating with the HR team.
- Manage recruitment, from role approval to handling recruitment replies and maintaining regular communication with line managers and the production director.
- Provide support and guidance to line managers on various people-related matters and practices, including basic employee relations cases.
- Coordinate the performance review process and provide administrative support for probation periods, offering guidance to line managers as needed.
- Alert the HR Manager promptly about any urgent or sensitive queries.
- Maintain and update HR systems, documentation, templates, and filing systems.

This will be working Monday to Thursday, 8.00 am-5.00 pm and Friday 8.00 am - 2.00pm, however can be slightly flexible for the right person, earning a salary between £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
