**The Kirklees Wellbean Crisis Café is open Mon-Sun in the evening between the hours of 5.30pm - 1am.**

The aim of the Kirklees Wellbean Café is to divert people, who would be better supported elsewhere, away from Accident and Emergency (A&E) and other crisis services in Kirklees. The service is open 7 evenings a week, of 6pm - 12am, providing a non-clinical alternative to A&E for adults in crisis, offering person-centred support in a non-clinical setting.

The post holder will provide effective leadership and performance management of the Well-bean Crisis Café and team of staff, work closely with the Lead Service Manager, with partners in other agencies, emergency service and other voluntary sector organisations.

We wish to recruit someone with personal experience of mental distress and substantial experience of supporting people in crisis, including working with people at risk of suicide and self harm and supporting people from BME and LGBT communities.

Flexibility is a requirement of this role covering daytime, evenings and some weekends. This is to ensure effective delivery of the service, partnership work and team support.
