This is a new and exciting management opportunity to lead a significant transformation programme and implement IOP Publishing’s first global centre of expertise for HR operations supporting across the organisation, you’ll help bring to life the people strategy and HR operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, providing an integrated and seamless employee experience globally. The role also owns the PMO for the workstreams across the people strategy leading the change agenda across IOPP. You’ll sit on the HR leadership team, operating in a new HR model across the organisation.

Working closely with the Chief People Officer, and the HR Leadership team, the role will steer the team’s continuous delivery of daily and operational employee experience. The role will be pivotal in leading in the context of a growing requirement to provide an integrated, automated HR proposition, systems and reporting to IOPP employees and managers. The role is accountable in ensuring all aspects of the colleague lifecycle and experience are delivered effectively and has accountability for leading HR Operations across IOPP and global groups.

Additionally, the role requires significant stakeholder engagement across the IOPP’s Executive team, leaders in the international geographies and the HR team and you’ll represent the group externally in networking opportunities and in selling the IOPP Employee brand.

**Key accountabilities for the Head, HR Service & Programme Delivery**:

- Lead the HR Service Delivery team to deliver the end-to-end HR service delivery model.
- Act as lead programme manager for the delivery of the HR strategic priorities and workstreams
- Ownership of HR systems, data and reporting to the organisation, maintaining, and improving in line with the HR Technology Road map, integrated IT platform to underpin the HR model and employee experience required.
- Budget management of the HR operations cost centre.
- Drive the continual development of tools (e.g., manager and self-service portals, and HR intranet) to enable a significant shift towards a self-service environment.
- Lead the resource plan to ensure all projects and work are allocated appropriately across the skills of the team and a partnership approach across IOPP.
- Lead on the promotion of effective and productive Employee relations activity across IOPP.
- Lead on Risk management across the HR team ensuring risk logs and actions are up to date.
- Own and manage the HR policies, processes, and documentation across IOPP in accordance with legal requirements and internal governance ensuing a customer focused approach.
- Lead on Process Improvement initiatives across the HR team to improve and manage an employee experience that aligns with IOPP culture.
- Working closely and collaboratively across the HR Leadership Team, across the Centres of Expertise and across the wider stakeholder and staff groups.
- Being an integral part of the Senior HR Leadership team and IOPP Senior Management Team

- Chartered MCIPD status.
- Extensive experience and proven capability in a senior HR operational role

- Proven PMO and operational change capability
