Great Sankey, United Kingdom MacIntyre Full time

**Are you looking for work that is truly fulfilling? Do you want a job where your influence will continue long after your shift ends? Could you support adults with a learning disability to live the way they want?**

You'll join our friendly team of Support Workers at one of our small, homely supported living services in Warrington, which is home to four people who have a variety of interests.

Alfie* has his own mobility car which he enjoys going out in to attend events and discos. He has a fantastic sense of humour and will often have everybody in fits of laughter Craig* loves gardening and growing his own plants, herbs and flowers - he takes great pride in his garden and can often be found digging in the soil and planting seeds.

Mary* is an independent lady who enjoys going out shopping or to grab a coffee. Mary enjoys visiting our Memory Cafe, getting her nails painted and on a sunny day going for a picnic or a long walk in the park. Tom* enjoys sitting in the living room and watching his favourite shows on TV. He has his own sensory area in the garden which he likes to relax in. He can be very mischievous at times, making people laugh and giving out hugs and head rubs.

As a support worker, you will provide assistance with personal care, manual handling and/ or medication. We will provide you with full training and back-up from our specialist teams and your colleagues.

You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota including weekends, bank holidays and sleep ins. Typical shifts include 07:00 - 15:00 (earlies), 09:00 - 16:30 (days) and 14:30 - 22:00 (lates).

**About you**

Experience isn’t always necessary. If you have the right attitude, good customer service skills, share our values and are willing to learn, you’re likely to be a great fit. We are looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.

You **must **be a driver with your own transport.
