**Job Description**:
This role will support the Shared Services team in developing and maintaining process improvements - making the best use of our systems. As Project Improvement Lead you will drive best practice, and lead in adopting automation Globally.

Roles & responsibilities:

- Working as the interface between Shared Services and Digital
- Drive process improvements within the teams by embracing automation
- Gather functional/technical requirements to support business processes; and help support the team in translating these requirements into implementation
- Re-introduce and roll out training for the Advanced Collections module
- Re-train the teams on best practice for systems use
- Develop documentation for the shared services systems and processes
- Support project management activities such as status reporting, timeline oversight and resource planning back to the Shared Services manager
- Support new business initiatives that impact the Shared Services systems and processes and work with the business and program team to understand the new functionality
- Report back and help implement time saving initiatives across the teams

You have a fundamental understanding of process improvement. You are a strong communicator and looking forward to a role where you can be at the forefront of building Abcam’s strategic business.

**Experience**:

- Process improvement experience essential / project management experience desirable
- AR knowledge essential (AP knowledge desirable)
- Previous process improvement experience and be confident to challenge existing practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an outstanding attention to detail
- Confident and influential communicator, with the ability to and build positive relationships at all levels
- Oracle ERP experience
