About the role:
One of the key pillars of Abcam’s growth strategy is to become a leading Digital company, and as such investment into and execution of a Digital transformation is critical. Which is why we are looking for a Finance Business Partner, Digital to utilize their financial expertise, commercial acumen and partnering skillset to influence decision making and drive value in this key space.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Partnering senior level business stakeholders to drive cost control, value for money, risk mitigation actions and identification of opportunities. Provide financial guidance, including capex and SaaS accounting treatment.
- Ownership for budget / forecast process for Digital across BAU and new investment
- Lead investment appraisal process in Digital, building business cases including returns and prioritization for new projects requiring capital investment. Ensure best practice and alignment with wider Abcam investment framework.
- Work closely with digital project teams from initiation through to execution to ensure spend and delivery of benefits is aligned to the business case

**Qualifications**:
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a professional qualification and have previous experience working in a Commercial Finance environment. You will need the ability to work alongside, build trusted relationships with and influence/challenge senior members of staff. You should also possess strong commercial acumen and the ability to move between the detail and the bigger picture to drive strong decision-making.
