Health And Safety Advisor - Construction

Chester

£30,000 - £50,000 per year

Monday to Friday - Site based

My client is a construction company who has a history in construction dating back over 90 years. What started off as a family ran business has rapidly grown into an award winning nationwide company who are continuously looking to expand and grow while carryingon the traditions of being a hands on, family run business within an ever changing industry.

**Duties**:

- Supports, tenders and pre-qualification process of sub-contractors.
- Provides technical and specialist HSQE support to site management.
- Attends and supports prestart, risk assessment, start-up, site, and client meetings as required.
- Reviews operational and site procedures and practices as required and report to the management team as appropriate.
- Advise and coordinate on H&S, environmental and quality issues.
- Provide consistent and accurate HSEQ advice to employees.
- Produce and communicate HSEQ alerts following incidents and poor-quality standards to promote learning and prevention and continual improvement.

**Requirements**:

- NEBOSH general certificate
- CSCS safety professional card
- High standard of written English
- A minimum 2+ years’ experience within a HSEQ role
