Position: Health and Safety Advisor
O'Neill and Brennan is looking for a skilled professional to join their team as a Health and Safety Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on a Retirement village construction site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive H&S policies and procedures tailored to demolition and deconstruction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain adherence to HSEQ regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify risks and provide guidance on mitigation strategies.
- Lead incident investigations and implement actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Design and deliver specialized H&S training programs.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and incorporate best practices into company policies.
- Interact with regulatory bodies, clients, and subcontractors to ensure compliance.
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- Extensive experience in Health and Safety.
- NEBOSH or IOSH diploma.
- Previous work experience in the construction sector.
- Reliable work history with substantial tenure in previous roles.
- Access to personal transportation.
