**What you need to apply**
You will need to have a genuine interest and understanding of animals and be confident in handling and caring for them. Ideally you will have knowledge of exotic animals including reptiles, as well as mammals and ponies.
You must be able to speak clearly and be confident talking to small groups of people of all ages. You will need to be caring and patient with excellent communication skills.
You must be a confident driver as you will be working at locations across the North West.

**What you will be doing**
You will be travelling with the animals to give presentations in a fun and interactive way, giving all participants the chance to ask questions and pet the animals. You will work with elderly persons, dementia and mental health patients, disabled people, children and young adults, people with autism, in rehab or with brain injuries. You will visit nursing homes, hospitals, day centres, schools, scouts.
You must be reliable and flexible as weekend and bank holidays may form part of your hours.

**A back ground in care would be an advantage**
Job is based from where you will collectin Skelmdersdale the company vehicle before travelling to a different location with the animals, across the North West.
You will receive full training and an immediate start is available.
Due to the nature of the role, a full criminal records check will be conducted (DBS).

Starting hours are 20 but these will rise.
