**Head of Lettings / Lettings Manager - Northampton - £30-£35k basic plus commissions**

My client is an award winning, leading, independent Lettings and Estate Agency brand who have been established in the area for dealing with Northamptonshire Luxury Properties for years. They are looking for an experienced Lettings Manager or a Lettings professionallooking for their next step up. The role will involve being responsible for the day to day operation of the lettings department including business generation, valuations, training and coaching staff members, ensuring compliance, client care and manage longterm existing relationships with landlords and tenants. This is a relatively new area for the business as have been solely focused on Sales over the years. This role is really for someone who is extremely driven and eager to generate business.

**Main Duties for the Lettings Manager Role**:

- Manage and mentor the lettings team members to ensure they are appropriately motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the lettings department, ensuring compliance and effective staff cover at all times.
- Chair morning meetings and ensure they are energetic, focused and actively participated in by the whole team
- Conduct market appraisals to gain completed client instructions

**Key Skills Required for the Lettings Manager Role**:

- Lettings experience essential
- A good understanding of Lettings legislation ideally ARLA qualified
- People management experience
- Have a proven track record with knowledge and experience of developing an established brand throughout a local market.
- Be able to lead by example and willing to learn and develop with an open minded approach to work.
- Be energetic, driven and determined.
