Accounts Coordinator

We are currently working with a Cambridge based supplier of fire alarm and security solutions across East Anglia to recruit for an Accounts Coordinator to assist in maintaining the company's financial accounts.
The role will involve;
- Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers, preparing monthly management accounts and final year end accounts.
- Bank reconciliations and chasing of outstanding debt.
- Managing supplier payments, filing quarterly VAT returns, calculating weekly wages from timesheets and monthly salaries, expenses and mileage.
- Management of RTI returns, P11Ds, P45s, P60s, SSP, SMP, holiday entitlements.
- Filing CIS returns and processing PAYE payments monthly.
- Preparing monthly pension payments.
- Petty cash control.
- Negotiating contract renewals with suppliers.
- General accounts related enquiries, other ad-hoc duties, and keeping on top of general filing and housekeeping.
To be considered for this position, you will be required to have;
- AAT Level 4 or ACA Level qualifications.
- 5 years' minimum experience in bookkeeping and accounts.
- Strong computer literacy with an understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage.
- Good written, verbal and numerical skills, with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of matters of a financial nature and conform to budgetary constraints.
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
