**WELLBEING WORKER: CYP (BICESTER SCHOOL)**

**Hours**: 19 Hours per week on a term-time only basis

**Salary**: £25,500 - £27,444 Per Annum Pro Rata (Salary dependant on on skills, knowledge and experiences)

**Contract**:Fixed Term**

**Base**: The Bicester School, Queens Avenue, Oxfordshire OX26 2NS

This exciting new role, working with the Bicester Secondary School, will deliver an early intervention service for children and young people attending the Bicester School, to support them in managing their mental health and wellbeing. This role includes a 1:1 offer and school-based group delivery, including assemblies.

Unfortunately we cannot shortlist for the above role if you don’t take each point in tern providing examples of how you can meet these requirements:

- Knowledge and understanding of mental health issues, including the needs of children and young people under the age of 18, living with a mental health problem
- An understanding of good practice in Safeguarding Children & Adults
- Experience of working within mental health, wellbeing or similar environments
- Experience of working in a demanding environment
- Experience of working as part of a team and communicating effectively
- Experience of working with individuals/groups enabling them to identify their own goals to support personal wellbeing and recovery and helping them to pursue these
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Ability to confidently use IT systems and software at a basic level
- Knowledge/understanding of our values
