Pyramid8 are working with a leading supplier in the food distribution industry. They are recruiting for an additional enthusiastic member of their Buying team to support in the general administration for the department. This is an excellent opportunity tolearn and develop in the department.

Our client is looking for an Enthusiastic Person to work for our well-established family owned and managed distribution company based near Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds. You will be working as part of a small team in a fast-paced modern Business Environment,where high quality standards are implemented throughout the business. This is a permanent vacancy within a growing company.

You will join the purchasing team and oversee all administrative aspects regarding purchasing including.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding outstanding Purchase orders.
- Communicating supply chain updates within the company.
- Checking order confirmations and updating computer system in line with this.
- Organising sample requests with existing suppliers.
- General administration and data entry tasks linked with pricing and purchasing.

Experience
- Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritising your workload and multitasking
- Competent with Windows Excel and other Microsoft Office Programmes.
- Great Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a busy fast-paced team.
