**Responsible for the effective handling of incoming calls from both staff and customers/sub-contractors.**

Responsible for welcoming guests and carrying out other general reception duties

Responsible for incoming deliveries and arranging returns of equipment/kit to head office

Responsible for general office requirements such as stationary and office supplies

Assisting departments when required with general administration duties

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Handling incoming calls from clients, suppliers and sub-contractors directing them to the correct person/department in a professional manner
- Welcoming guests/visitors and notifying staff of their arrival.
- Receiving in daily post and distributing accordingly.
- Managing outgoing post requirements (including trips to post office for recorded delivery requirements)
- Managing and ordering stationery for the offices as required.
- Maintaining general office supplies including shopping and milk orders.
- Managing requirements for meetings such as lunch etc.
- Point of contact for photocopier supplier.
- Carry out weekly fire alarm tests (training provided).
- Admin tasks as required for Central Office teams.
- Receiving incoming deliveries and placing in stores for collections
- Arranging returns of equipment to our Head Office in Exeter
- Providing daily support for Job Close Downs

- Good telephone manner and verbal communication.
- Able to deal with all staff tactfully and assertively.
- Ability to use Outlook, Word and Excel.

- Ability to work closely with all internal teams.
- Ability to deal with change.
- Strong attention to detail.

**Salary**: Up to £24,500.00 per year
