Buyer - Didcot, Oxfordshire.

BlueGate have partnered with a manufacturing company in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager the Buyer will support the procurement function to achieve business goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To buy materials and services at the best competitive pricing in accordance with the required quality, quantity, delivery instructions, and other business requirements.
- To investigate alternative suppliers offering equivalent goods on cost-effective terms.
- To negotiate the prices with business partners to ensure and achieve price competency.
- To fulfil all the prerequisites before releasing purchase orders to the suppliers/ service providers.
- To coordinate with suppliers/ service providers for timely delivery of goods and services.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with business partners.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated negotiating skills and knowledge of supply chain management
- Computer literate
