An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our busy All Age Commissioning Unit, which forms part of the Community Wellbeing Directorate of the council.

The Commissioning Unit is responsible for designing and procuring a broad range of social care and community services in Herefordshire, including domestic abuse services.

This role requires someone with excellent communication and skills to work with a range of people and organisations to support the work of the domestic abuse local partnership board in Herefordshire and to ensure that the council is meeting the requirements of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.

As the Domestic Abuse Co-ordinator you will have demonstrable experience in the field of domestic abuse and have experience of working with organisations across a range of sectors e.g. statutory, non-statutory, community and voluntary.

You will possess a strong working knowledge of current legislation around the provision of domestic abuse services, a clear understanding of good practice as well as experience of project co-ordination and information analysis.

You will be responsible for the administration and co-ordination of the domestic abuse local partnership board in Herefordshire and support the wider delivery of domestic abuse services within the All Age Commissioning portfolio.

The ability to develop effective working relationships quickly is essential to this role.
