Together for Childhood (TfC) is a place-based initiative which aims to radically improve the way we tackle child abuse and neglect. There are four sites across the UK - Stoke, Plymouth, Grimsby, and Glasgow. Our aim is to build local partnerships that will drive preventative activities and services that are both innovative and based on the best available evidence. We are seeking to appoint a Research & Evaluation Assistant to support the implementation of the evaluation of Together for Childhood in Glasgow by carrying out data collection, analysis and presentation of findings.

The post is full-time and permanent but part-time/flexible working will be considered. Your base will be at the Govan Service Centre but it will be possible to work from home for part of the week. Some travel to other NSPCC locations, including London, will be necessary.

We're looking for a Research and Evaluation Assistant to support with the implementation of local evaluation projects, as well as contributing to the central evaluation of Together for Childhood. Specifically we're looking for
- An understanding of qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Experience of report writing
- Strong interpersonal skills to build respectful and productive relationships with the community.

Working with a Research and Evaluation Manager in Govan, this role is an excellent developmental opportunity for someone at the starts of their research career. The Govan TfC evaluation team will lead on developing new and interesting opportunities to assess how TfC is working for children and families in communities.
