**Job Summary**

Work with ESD operations and management to give insight on performance, trends and forecasts. Identify factors that are impacting performance and support the Continuous improvement of all contracts. The role will support SLT to make decisions based on insightgiven and facilitate contractual revenue optimisation through best-in-class insight that drives operational excellence

**Essential Job Duties**

Support Head of Performance with:
**Performance Analysis**
- Detailed understanding of our contracts and delivery models to support structured performance analysis based on operational, contractual or commissioner requirements
- Understanding and utilisation of our BI and tools e.g power BI. Using various sources of data both internal and external to facilitate strong insight on performance and factors that impact performance
- Manipulation of BI data to clearly show risks, opportunities and trends
- Working Models to support on going forecasting and bid opportunities
- Collaborating and working with BI to ensure reports and Dashboards support operations and give clear visibility of performance, focusing on key pinch points
Visualisation and Reporting
- Creating and presenting detailed yet simple reports via excel, power Point and Word to give Operations and SLT transparency of performance
- Providing daily, weekly and monthly reports on performance, forecasts and priority areas
- Transforming the way we review and measure our performance looking at capacity, productivity and efficiency measures
- Provide insight that will facilitate operations to work collaboratively with our commissioners, adding value on details that could lead to moulding and tailoring of existing services and future procurement
- Providing cross contract analysis to identify good practices
Projects and Continuous Improvement
- Support our CI team in driving performance and efficiencies by providing insight and measuring the impacts of our changes periodically
- Support projects that are designed to improve our performance
- Support new business and Bid opportunities

**Develop and Support**

Key elements of the role will entail:

- Developing and support others in the team
- Ensure we have sufficient capacity through workload planning
- Identify opportunities for automation to reduce workloads
- Upskilling and cross skilling to ensure we have resilience in case of absence or other resource challenges
- Co-ordinating workloads to ensure the day to day deliverables are achieved

**Relationship Management**

Working with key stakeholders to deliver insight such as:

- Senior leadership team
- Contract Directors
- Commissioners
- Finance
- BI Team

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Experience in providing technical guidance and support
- Extensive reporting and forecasting experience
- Experienced in MS Excel for reporting and analysis
- Comprehensive knowledge of visualisation and analytical practices
- Experience working in Agile teams Individual competencies
- Ability to collaborate across teams internally and externally to deliver insight
- Delivery of priorities to standard and deadline using a logical and commercial approach and excellent time management skills
- Highly effective and professional communication skills when working with both team colleagues and internal/external stakeholders
- Analytical skill set with an ability to interpret information requirements and advise on and develop reporting solutions
- Excellent attention to detail with an ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Ability to work accurately under time pressure
