Who are we?
We love making fabrics. We design and manufacture upholstery and panel têxtiles for every space and sector, from commercial and education, to healthcare and hospitality, to passenger transport including bus, coach and rail.
Purpose
To manage and grow our Contract business within the North-West covering the Midlands from Birmingham / Leicestershire, North Wales to Lancashire, driving top line and bottom-line objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- To deliver against budgeted revenues and profitability within the territory
- Negotiate major contracts with key customers
- Identify opportunities to build sales and raise the profile of our product portfolio with UK manufacturers, dealers and specifiers to deliver against budgets and strategy
- Build, develop & maintain strategic relationships with key cross functional personnel within our key accounts, working proactively and in partnership at all levels
- Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with the main touch points of influence within the contract interiors specification market within the territory
- Identify major projects for specification and collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring specification to sales conversion
- Gather and report on market and customer insights to inform business strategy
- As a brand ambassador, portray our values and the brand proposition to drive greater fabric specification and listings
- Deliver product training to customers raising our company profile and our products
- Work in partnership with the customer service team to facilitate the delivery and coordination of key projects
- Network and collaborate with key customers and specifiers
- Plan and attend events and trade-shows, ensuring maximum exposure and networking opportunities with existing and new customers
Criteria:
- Proven experience in generating interest in products & brands and turn this interest into long-term business relationships with the target-group
- Experience of delivering training/sales presentations
- Excellent analytical skills and a good assessment of business opportunities
- Technical understanding of fabrics for acoustics and furniture
- An understanding of contract furniture and/ or finishes
- Passionate and results orientated
- Passionate about Sustainability
- Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to travel
- Demonstrable negotiation skills and commercially astute
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- The role will be home based with regular travel to the North Midlands, North Wales and North West UK areas
- Full, clean driving license
