Experienced Motor Parts Advisor

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Parts Advisor to join our multi-brand Parts Department which supplies Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen DS and Eurorepar parts to local Trade Club and private customers. Previous experience in a vehicle parts environment is ESSENTIAL.

Our Parts Department has an annual turnover in excess of £4 million.

You will need excellent people skills and be able to work under pressure and as part of a team in this customer focused role.

You will also need to understand and be able to identify the parts required to fulfil the requirements of our customers.

You will be happy to speak with internal and external contacts by phone, will have good keyboard skills and experience of working with computer based systems for the management of data, invoicing and customer contact. We currently use the Pinnacle system.

The role includes:

- Meeting & greeting customers
- Liaising with the workshop team and with customers
- Providing quotations
- Keeping customers notified of any stock availability issues
- Invoicing, arranging and taking payment

Attention to detail is essential, as is a sense of humour and a smart appearance.

Full time hours from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to noon, one in three Saturdays.

York Ward & Rowlatt is a Vauxhall Retailer with the Peugeot Service franchise located in Wellingborough. We pride ourselves on exemplary customer service.
