**Role Purpose**:
You will be part of the pre-start team managing the creation of Retail print and digital assets which inform our retail estate and retail teams with everything they need to know before the fourth licence starts on the 1st February 2024

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Working with the HORC & HORT from the main Retail Strategic Training Plan, and the Annual Retail Communications plan this role will form a close and collaborative working partnership with the Retail Engagement and Retail Operations teams to universally ensure every creative asset is designed and built to brand guidelines, agreed messaging hierarchies and adheres to the sign off processes.
- Curate and create corporate 2d / print / digital ready designs across a range of formats using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
- Design and create a range of assets, materials and content required across both Allwyn (internally facing) guidelines and tone of voice, and National Lottery (externally facing) guidelines and tone of voice
- Provide creative recommendations and proposals in response to team briefs
- Create visual concepts and retouch images to ensure they meet print and web standards, such as colour, typography and image libraries
- Correct and format documents to print protocols and specifications
- Create animated/ web enabled dynamic PDF documents to be hosted online
- Design and creative of external facing presentations and B2B communications based on existing content
- Ensure artwork is consistent, accurate and follows any brand guidelines
- Impose variable print files for digital print
- Set up, manage and archive accurate artwork files and supply to relevant stakeholders
- Manage and update an in-house image library
- Carry out proof checking prior to print
- Create web assets to size and scale
- Check printers' proofs
- Adapt existing artwork to alternative layouts and/or formats
- Liaise with external printers and act as a point of contact for the artwork department of the studio or company

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- Delivery of all brief assets on time, to brand guidelines and sign off process
- must have strong experience in creating artworks and creative designs / concepts and print / digital ready formats to guidelines
- strong retouching and visualisation skills
- the ability to create visual concepts
- knowledge of the whole Adobe Creative Cloud
- strong layout and typographical skills and knowledge of fonts
- confidence using the latest DTP software, working with both Macs and PCs
- organisational approach to archiving and referencing
- communication skills to engage with designers and printers
- collaborative skills to work closely with project management and asset / team leads
- reporting skills for providing progress updates at every stage of the design and artwork process
- time management and the ability to work to quick deadlines
- self-motivation and the ability to work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
- a methodical approach to work and meticulous attention to detail
- the ability to take instructions and follow direction from other professionals
- Previous experience creating collateral for retailers is beneficial but not required
